Community Nutrition

Community Nutrition provides accessibility to students, and all children and youth to see a nutritionist or dietitian. It makes nutrition education available to school-aged children on a yearly basis, helps support parents in healthy eating, and the prevention of nutrition-related disease.

Community nutritionists support health initiatives in their communities, by providing group education and seminars, on-on-one counsel, and teaching support.

Community nutrition work is referred to our members, based on their availability and locale. This provides our community nutritionists with the opportunity to visit many if not all classrooms in their city or area once a year with an age-specific topic on healthy eating.
